Accounts Assistant - Receivable

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • This position description describes the accountabilities and requirements of the position and is intended as a guide to the main elements of the role and should not be considered as a complete listing of all duties and tasks that may be undertaken. The purpose of your role:

  • To provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control.

Key responsibilities:

AR Daily Processing

DASH BOARD

  • Complete assigned tasks in dashboard workflow
  • Dashboard task count (Mondays)
  • Check for deposits 
  • Check client accounts are current
  • Process T&M PP internal sale
  • Invoice product/service (Extranet)

EMAILS

  • Process email errors
  • Update email error doc
  • Process AR emails
  • Reminder email sent
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies

INVOICING

  • TOR
  • Adhoc
  • Online order
  • Reconcile 0 value invoices (Tuesday)

AR Weekly Processing

Reporting

  • Weekly metric reporting for Accounts meeting (example: cancellations, phones, etc.)

AR Monthly Processing

1st of the month

  • Switch canceled websites from enabled to disabled

2nd of the month

  • Print client postal mail out DB (invoices and statements)

11th of the month

  • DPS checking and fails

15th of the month

  • Process DD database & process

19th of the month

  • DPS checking and fails

22nd of the month

  • Check DD database & process

Month end process

  • Complete month end processes as directed by NZ Team
  • Reconcile GL codes as required
  • Run monthly statements & postal invoices
  • Unallocated cash report


Health & Safety

  • Recognize individual responsibility for workplace Health and Safety under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

Key Requirements

  • 2‐3 year experience in an Accounts position.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills

Other Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Salary is negotiable.
