Job Description

The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for handling customer technical support requests with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to address customer issues with one call resolution.

You will provide telephone-based support to end users on network and software related issues. Experience in a call center environment, as well as familiarity with general troubleshooting of networking software related problems, is an added advantage for this position.

In this position, you will identify, research and resolve technical problems based on pre-established guidelines, document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution, identify patterns of failure and symptoms of underlying issues and work with network and systems engineers in problem resolution.

You will be part of a best-in-class call center environment team that provides the best possible support to our customers. Candidates with a certification like CCNA, CCNP, MCSA and MCSE will be considered first. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements for this position:

  • Shift based work (24x7x365)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • Familiarity with network technologies such as SMTP, POP, IMAP, HTTP
  • Excellence command of English in written and verbal is a MUST.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge in postfix, VMware and Windows Servers would be a value add.
  • Possess Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems at least.
