PHP/Python Application Security Expert

We are preferred vendors for many large blue-chip companies including Vodafone, Verizon wireless, Neiman Marcus, USC, UCSB. We are seeking to expand our Philippines development team in the Ortigas Center, Pasig. This team will be responsible for the development of custom applications and/or software products for our clients in the United States.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Development and support of sophisticated web-based software such as web portals, CRMs, ECommerce web systems. Lead and mentor development team. Manage project and act as central communication contact for the end client. Perform Application security assessments, Apply security best practices.

Requirements:

• Excellent English and communications skills.
• Experience in customer interaction including running meetings, demos, scrums
• High Proficiency with PHP/Python, MySQL Web programming
• Strong knowledge in Web Application Security programming techniques and best practices.
• Able to assess and remediate application vulnerabilities and security gaps.
• Able to perform whitebox testing, penetration testing.
• Expert Knowledge in website configuration using Linux and Apache.
• Expert Knowledge in DB Administration and designs.
• Knowledge in Amazon AWS including EC2 and RDS (Aurora) set up and configuration.
• Knowledge in automation test tools such as selenium is a huge asset.
• Knowledge in mobile programming such as IOS and Android a huge asset.
• Experience with project coordination and end-client liaison.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
• Strong web development, including Responsive Web Design, JQuery, Javascript, AngularJS, Bootstrap.
• Experience with PHP/Python framework such as Zend, CodeIgniter. Django, Django CMS
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
• Preferably 5 or more year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Opportunity to work flexible hours and offsite (telecommute).
