Finance Officer

I. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees timely preparation/submission of Monthly Customer Invoices
  • Plans payment and disbursement schedules
  • Assists in the preparation and implementation of monthly budgets
  • Prepares/implements internal billing and payroll process documentation and automation.
  • Negotiates with suppliers/vendors and oversees the company's purchasing process
  • Oversees billing and collection
  • Prepares/disburses approved regular payroll releases
  • Ensures timely preparation of financial reports
  • Oversees preparation, payment and claims of employee benefits and government-mandated taxes.
  • Works closely with the company's external accounting firm for the timely preparation and filing of government-required reports;


II. Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • A graduate of BS Accountancy or any business course with specialization in Financial Management.
  • A corporate and administrative experience of at least 2-3 years is required for this position.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken English) is a must. 
  • Experience in dealing with international clients is a must.
  • Knowledge of office productivity software (particularly MS Office) and financial applications


III. Desired Skill Sets/Experiences:

  • Flexible and able to work in different time zones and can deal with clients of different nationalities and cultures.
  • Excellent leadership ability
  • Familiar with HR-related operations, preferably from the IT-BPM Environment
  • Knowledgeable in IT-enabled communications systems (Skype, GoToMeeting, etc.)
  • Capable of conducting training/presentations.
