Company Overview
We are hiring a web development specialist for an exciting greenfield project outsourced from one of the most promising tech start-ups in London. Our client has built a powerful and scalable distributed computing platform designed for large-scale BI and analytics and are looking to build a web-based front-end, potentially followed by a set of monitoring and administration tools.
Job Description
The ideal candidate has 2 to 5 years of specialised industry experience with modern web development, potentially gained within an international environment. They have preferably a good university degree in Computer Science or Engineering and are keen to walk on the bleeding edge of web technologies.
Key skills are the ability to build a modern, responsive and elegant web application with HTML5, JavaScript, Angular.js, Bootstrap, and D3.js, with an emphasis on robustness and portability across devices. The ability to write high-quality, clean, modular code complete with unit tests, is also a must. Knowledge of REST is necessary for server-side connectivity.
