JOB DESCRIPTION

FRONT END ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on developing large front-end projects at Onerent.
• A passion for writing well-designed code and a desire to innovate our technology stack to make the codebase better.
• Strong communication skills - be able to understand and explain technical issues to non-technical team members. Ability to communicate and clarify requirements with management.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years' experience designing, developing and maintaining web applications.
• MS or BS in Computer Science or other applicable discipline.
• Experience in PHP, Node.js, or similar languages. Worked with various MVC frameworks (such as Symfony 2+ on PHP, or Redux/Fluxible on Node.js)
• Working with databases in MongoDB / PostgreSQL / Redis.

JUNIOR FRONT END ENGINEER

SENIOR FRONT END ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead development of large, front-end projects at Onerent.
• A passion for writing well-designed code and a desire to innovate our technology stack to make the codebase better.
• Strong communication skills - be able to understand and explain technical issues to non-technical team members. Ability to communicate and clarify requirements with management.
• Leading and mentoring other developers (including code reviews).

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years' experience designing, developing and maintaining web applications.
• MS or BS in Computer Science or other applicable discipline.
• Experience in PHP, Node.js, or similar languages. Worked with various MVC frameworks (such as Symfony 2+ on PHP, or Redux/Fluxible on Node.js)
• Working with databases in MongoDB / PostgreSQL / Redis.
