Job Description 

The purpose of this position is to operate and monitor consoles for production lines, in order to complete assigned shift work. This position requires knowledge of computer operations as demonstrated by an understanding and application of the general principles and practices associated with the work specialty.

Responsibilities include: 

• Processing batch production jobs and backups. 
• This position also assists end users and support staff, while performing other related duties as required. 
• The ability to set priorities and know when priorities need to be changed to meet shift production requirements. 
• The ability to accurately observe and report problem conditions with little or no assistance. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies: 

Qualified applicants must submit an application that clearly reflects work experience that demonstrates the following:

• Demonstrated knowledge of computer operations principles and practices. 
• Demonstrated work experience with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with operations staff, end users, technical staff, equipment vendors, and management. 
• Demonstrated work experience to independently resolve routine and some non-routine computer operations related technical problems. 
• Demonstrated work experience with the use of established troubleshooting procedures. 
• Demonstrated work experience performing standard diagnostic and maintenance procedures. 
• Demonstrated work experience to set priorities and know when priorities need to be changed to meet shift production requirements. 
• Demonstrated work experience to accurately observe and report problem conditions with little or no assistance. 

Applicant must meet both the minimum education and experience requirements and all posted knowledge, skills and abilities/competencies requirements to be considered qualified for the position.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements 

• A graduate of any vocational or 4-year course preferably in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any relevant course. - Coursework in computer operations or information technology from a technical school or college may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. 
• MUST BE WILLING TO BE ASSIGNED IN BUNAWAN, DAVAO CITY. 
• MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN SHIFTS AND MAY BE REQUIRED TO RENDER OVERTIME OCCASIONALLY. 
• MUST BE HARDWORKING, A SELF LEARNER AND MUST BE WILLING TO WORK WITHIN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
