This candidate will be working closely with a world-class team of designers, engineers, developers, and content marketers to create the best possible solutions. The WordPress developer will be working in partnership with our project managers, front-end developers, and application developers.
How you work
Responsibilities
- Design the structure, taxonomy, and extension of WordPress for client sites.
- Write and maintain custom plugins and themes
- Work with project managers and teams to deliver with quality and adhere to timelines.
- Ability to provide user-friendly site administration, documentation, and guidance to content contributors.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with WordPress and PHP.
- Back-end skills - Experience building custom themes, plugins, widgets, WordPress filters, WordPress hooks and etc.
- Creating custom plugins and hooks are an essential part of the position. Please be prepared to exhibit past custom plugin and hook examples
- Version Control (GitHub, Subversion, etc.)
- Experience working with APIs
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge and mastery of Magneto and Shopify
- Experience in Laravel
- Front-end skills - HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Other Javascript libraries, Bootstrap and Responsive Design
- Knowledge and experience in Structured Markup Language (Google & Schema.org)
