SAMATOSA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER CORPORATION is in need of a JUNIOR WEB DESIGNER.
You will develop creative ideas and concept based on the input from our clients. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, cost and deadlines.
As we mostly work versus the Northern European market, we usually focus on minimalistic designs.
Job Description:
The UI Designer will have full responsibility for creating the design specifications for an interface to our clients. The role will have a primary focus on creating, improving, and overseeing the implementation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Create and deliver various designs for mobile and web.
- Collaborate with the development team to deliver clear design specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and everyone involved in the product development team about the project status and action steps.
- Works smartly to redefine a design brief within the demands of the key people and constraints of cost and time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent visual design skills;
- Proficiency in the following design and wireframing tools:
- Adobe Fireworks
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Invision App (optional)
- Sketch App (optional)
- Zeplin app (optional)
- Must be able to solve problems creatively and effectively;
- Basic comprehension of information design, general understanding of CSS/HTML, browser compatibility, and design constraints on web and mobile environments;
- Knowledge of designing for iOs and Android mobile app interfaces;
- Must be able to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs and/or ideas from key people with differing opinions;
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies;
- A passion for great design and innovation;
- Portfolio showing your UI and UX skills is required;
- Must be willing to work in Davao City;
- Full-time position available.
