Job Description

Carolina Wholesale Group, Inc. is one of the largest office machine and supply distributors in the country. With five distribution centers carrying more than 10,000 active items from over 100 manufacturers, the company serves the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

We are seeking an EDI Developer who will be responsible for developing solutions and new business processes using Liaison's Delta/ECS Data Integration Suite taking us to the next level of B2B communications. Only your previous EDI experience is necessary to move forward with this complete enterprise application integration (EAI) solution that is capable of coordinating the many diverse applications, databases, and e-commerce formats found across our business.

Responsibilities:

  • The management and development of an ERP integration of all EDI customers and vendors.
  • Software and server upgrades.
  • Management of current trading partners issues and support, improving maps when necessary.
  • Communications with new trading partners and the development of new partner integrations.

Performance Measures:

  • Time reduction and accurate data manual processes
  • Responsiveness to employees, customers, vendors, and third-party partnerships
  • Summary of Work Order completions and areas of time spent
  • Successful implementation of custom programs or business solutions provided

Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience
  • 5 Plus years of experience on Sterling Integrator tool suite or compatible software.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical communications
  • Experience with application support, XML, and SQL is a must
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and to meet deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously and in a dynamic team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to develop new transaction set functionality beyond current map experience
