Job Description

The Software Developer will become part of a team of software professionals responsible for the requirements, design, construction, integration, testing, verification and maintenance of Lane Systems software projects. The individual must be forward-thinking and share a common vision of quality, integrity, and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications and maintain a "common sense" approach that serves to recognize potential design gaps and provide insight into closing them. 
• Create efficient, scalable, reusable middle tier logic using ASP.NET and other languages as needed with experience in MS SQL Server.
• Accountable for optimization-focused design to ensure that all code is written with high- availability and high-impact 

• Author functional and technical design documentation that fully defines all applicable codes and the underlying methodology for the design decisions made. 

Maintenance and Other Roles:

• Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures; Review code for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies. 
• Detail unit testing of code. 
• Troubleshoot client problems both remotely and onsite. 
• Research and identify the cause of reported defects and issues. 
• Develop patches and defect fixes.
• Perform and assist with quality assurance activities as needed.
• Participate in customer support activities as needed. 
• Other related duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): ASP.NET, MS SQL Server.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Davao City.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
