IT Technical Staff

Work Location: Davao


Job Description 

  • Maintain server and client computers.'
  • Backup database every end of all transactions.
  • Receive requests from users having specific computer related problems such as PC, Printer, System, Projector, etc. (Identify the source of specific problems and resolves problems in an accurate and timely manner.)
  • Prioritize requests based on the severity of problem and impact to users' ability to do their job and overall business operations.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specification.
  • Configure new and existing PCs by the installation of the appropriate operating system, software, etc. as outlined by guidelines and users' specific job needs.
  • Configure printers to work with appropriate network systems.
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Install software upgrading on existing PCs.
  • Work cooperatively with purchasing to obtain the most cost-effective quotes for hardware and software purchases.
  • Maintain documentation of problems and remedial actions are taken or installation activities.
  • Educate users on the proper use of and troubleshooting activities for hardware or software utilized.
  • Work cooperatively as part of the team to provide excellent customer service.
  • Conduct special projects as requested.
  • LAN (Local Area Network) Support / Administration (including WiFi and Internet).


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
  • Knowledgeable or experience in software installation, configuration, and set-up. (Systems Admin, Windows '98, 2000, XP, Vista, and Win7.
  • Knowledgeable in SQL.)
  • Good in handling computer repair and maintenance.
  • Willing to be assigned to Davao City, Philippines
